Stedet ligger fint til for både fotturer og aktiviteter. Pilgrimsleden er helt i nærheten og det er bla moskussafari på Dovrefjell.
Fint utgangspunkt for dagsturer med bil til bla Røros, Grimsdalen, Rondane og Jotunheimen. Leiepris er inkludert fri bruk av propan og peisved. Dyner og puter er også inkludert.
