Welcome to Sjölunden, a beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of the wonderful nature of Öland.
The cottage is situated just 50 meters from the sea in the middle of the nature reserve “Knisa Mosse”. Here you’ll have the opportunity to experience Swedish wildlife through the nearby nature walk and bird tower. You can also go by bike on the unpaved tracks along the coast.
If you don’t want to be on the crowded sand beaches of Northern Öland you can sunbathe on the flat rocks by the water here in Sjölunden. The rent of the holiday cottage also includes a barbeque area by the beach where you can enjoy the astonishing sunsets!
Sjölunden cottage also has access to the surrounding fishing waters where you can catch salmons in the spring and autumn.
Sjölunden is located two kilometers south of Sandvik, a fishing village with a small harbour, sand beach, supermarkets and restaurants. In Sandvik you’ll also find the largest windmill in Scandinavia with adjoining restaurant, pizzeria and mini golf. By the harbour there is a fish boutique and a café that also has rental bikes.
