Beautifully and privately situated own island (about 3200 sqm) in Lake Mälaren (Swedens third largest freshwater lake), with own pier and rowing boat included. You can drive your car all the way to the island. Close to water activities, fishing, golf courses, strolls in the forests, barbequeing... You will be the only ones on the island; neighbours are within a few hundred meters, but mostly not within visible range. About 1,5 hours from Stockholm.
Plain but newly refurbished main cottage, about 60 sqm fitted with most modern comfort facilities, including electricity, running water, shower/WC and a kitchen with most modernities such as dish washer and micro. The main house has two small bedrooms, a living room with 2 sofa beds, a dining table and a fireplace (which occasionally causes smoke in the house). Hence 2+2 beds in separate bedrooms, as well as 2 living room sofa beds =6 beds in the main house.
A guest house (about 15 sqm) is available for additional rent, it has electricity but not running water or WC. It has one double bed and one double sofa bed=4 beds.
Those who also rents the guesthouse, hence in total has 10 beds.
Charge for the guest house is SEK 1500 per week, or 5000 per month.
Small petrol outboard engine available at SEK 800 per week.
Pillows, blankets and covers are included. Bed-linens and towels are brought by the guest, or are available to rent according to prior agreement. Baby beds and a baby chair are available.
Normally Sundays are days for arrival and departure, but this can be negotiated in case of availability. Checking out is normally at 10 AM, and checking in at 3 PM; also this can can be negotiated in case of availability.
The island is located some 70-80 meters from the mainland. A permanent road for cars leads out to it through a section of reed; it is hence possible to drive all the way out and park on the island. Riksväg 56 is within visible and audible range from the island.
