My Cottage No 8, in Burgsvikens Strandby, is located in the front row facing the bay of Burgsviken. The terrace is sunny in the afternoon and evening. Cottage is rented weekly for you, who appreciate comfort and beautiful sunsets. I keep the house smoke- and pet free.
The cottage measures 40 sqm with living room / kitchen and two bedrooms. There are four regular beds and two extra beds in the sofa. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other bedroom has two single beds in the form of a bunk bed. Kitchen o living room in open plan with high ceilings and wood burning stove. Bathroom with shower o washing machine. Microwave, oven, glass hob, dishwasher, fridge o freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and household utensils.
Fiber, free WiFi, TV, fridge / heat pump. Mosquito door and -windows for the bedrooms. Terrace about 30 sqm, outdoor furniture with dining table and six chairs including pillows. Outdoor lighting, grill. Nearby parking.
There are duvets and pillows in the beach cottage but normally you bring sheets and towels. Vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are available in the warehouse.
The nearest beach is located at Käldhagen about 4 km south towards Burgsvik, a long and well-maintained beach.

How to find your way:
Road nr 142 towards Hemse and Burgsvik: 9 km south of Havdhem, pass the signs "Fide 2" to the left and "Fidenäs Klintehamn" on the right. Turn right at white sign "Burgsvikens Strandby". Stugbyn's parking is down to the left. Beach cottage No 8 is located in the far right of the small village, looking at the water.
Kustvägen nr 140 towards Klintehamn and Burgsvik: 12 km south of Hablingbo. Pass the signs "Fidenäs" to the right and "Fide 2" to the left. After a few hundred meters, Burgsviken Strandby's parking is on the right. Beach cottage No 8 is located in the far right of the small village, looking at the water.
The key is in the key cabinet, outside the warehouse, around the corner to the left of the cottage. Code to the key cabinet is obtained after the booking is completed.

Vi var fyra vuxna som hyrde Strandstuga no 8 under en vecka i månadsskiftet augusti/september 2019. Vi är mycket nöjda med veckan och stugan. Stugan var välstädad och hade allt man behöver för att fixa mat och ett väl fungerande wifi. Dessutom fanns luftvärmepump så att ett behagligt inneklimat var möjligt. Rekommenderas varmt!

Kort sagt en fantastisk stuga med extra allt! Vi var där i två veckor och utforskade södra Gotland. Vi återkommer gärna och vi rekommenderar absolut stugan till alla och till våra vänner om de tar semester på Gotland. Riktigt snabb WiFi, bortåt 150 Mbit i båda riktningarna. Massor av TV-kanaler att välja på. Och nära till ICA i Burgsvik och till stora ICA och andra butiker i Hemse. Rikt fågelliv. Vi skulle kunna bo här året om.

Vi är en familj med tre barn i åldrarna 3, 6 och 9 som hyrde stugan under sommaren 2017. Stugan var i toppskick och allt kändes mycket rent och städat. Stugan ligger i en liten stugby men i utkanten och man kände sig mycket privat även ute på altanen. Alla bekvämligheter man kan tänka sig, såsom diskmaskin och tvättmaskin, fanns på plats vilket vi som barnfamilj uppskattade mycket. I andra änden av området ligger det en märklig men härlig lekplats där barnen älskade att vara, inte de vanliga klätterställningarna och gungorna man är van vid utan där fanns torn av traktordäck, lianer och rep att balansera på. Vi besökte i huvudsak två stränder, båda inom 10 minuters bilväg. Den ena som låg i hamnen i Burgsvik och en som heter Nisseviken som var lite större. Båda härliga och när vi var där så var det ganska glest med folk. Vi skulle gärna återvända igen!
