Charming 1850s Farmhouse for Rent in Lennartsfors For those seeking a peaceful, rural, and nature-close holiday in a Värmland countryside idyll, with a view over a wild stream. Just a short walk to a wonderful shallow beach in Lake Lelång, part of the Dalsland Canal. The two-story farmhouse retains much of its original structure but has been carefully renovated. The ground floor includes a self-catering kitchen equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. Large cozy wood-burning stove that both heats the house and is excellent for cooking. Fridge with freezer compartment, electric stove, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, toaster, hand mixer, and more. One bedroom with 2 single beds. Big living room with open fireplace, sofa group, and dining table. Large hallway with double wardrobe. Bathroom with shower, sink, and Separett composting toilet. A small enclosed porch. Upstairs is a newly renovated large bedroom with one double bed and one single bed. The farm is secluded, and the courtyard invites both active play such as ball games and kubb, or quiet relaxation with birdsong and undisturbed sunbathing. The surrounding fields belong to the property. Plenty of parking space. Covered wooden deck with lounge furniture facing a wonderful westward view. Sandbox, swing, and trampoline for younger guests. Outdoor furniture, Weber charcoal grill, deck chairs, hammock, men's and women's bicycles, berry pickers, mushroom baskets, etc. are available to borrow. Chives, lettuce, currants, and more grow on the property and may be picked as long as supplies last. To guarantee a pleasant bathing experience, a wood-fired hot tub is available for rent. The nearby forests are rich in berries and mushrooms in season. The area is home to a variety of wildlife including deer, elk, foxes, and more that may wander close to the cabin. Cleaning is to be done by the tenant according to the cleaning checklist provided in the cabin, or can be booked for an additional fee. Bed linen and towels should be brought by the guest or can be rented. No pets or smoking indoors. BOOKING 2026 High Season Weekly Rate: Week 25 – Week 35 Rental Mon–Sun: 5900 SEK Rent for 2 weeks – get 1 night free (Night between Sun of week 1 – Mon of week 2 is free) Optional Add-ons: Wood-fired hot tub: 1100 SEK/week or 700 SEK/short week Final cleaning: 1200 SEK/week or 700 SEK/short week Bed linen/bath towel: 150 SEK/person Electricity, water, and firewood are included in the rent. The hot tub takes several hours to fill and must be booked in advance. A booking fee/security deposit of 1200 SEK/week is paid at the time of booking and refunded after the cabin is returned in clean and undamaged condition. Non-refundable in case of cancellation. Boat or canoe rental is available at the village campsite and should be arranged by the guest. Fishing permits can also be purchased. Fishing is allowed from the lakefront at Lelång. The town is located by the lakes Stora Le/Foxen and Lelång, with a beautiful lock (built in 1865) that is the most impressive in the Dalsland Canal after the aqueduct in Håverud and makes boating and tourism flourish in the summer. Here, a lock café, Strömsborg restaurant and unique small garden cafés with homemade coffee are open. At Bergstugan there is a small grocery store with a café/restaurant and a pub. There are craftsmen of various products of both old and new that are open during the summer. Big midsummer celebration at the local history museum. Dance floor with summer events.
