Modern Cabin in IdreRent this cosy cottage with 8 beds in Idre, Dalarna |
This newly built (2022) cabin is located in Sweden’s newest ski resort, Idre Himmelfjäll. The cabin is 95 square meters and offers 8 beds plus a sofa bed, distributed across two bedrooms and a spacious loft. The loft also features a cozy sofa and TV corner. The cabin comes fully equipped with a fireplace, sauna, PlayStation, high-speed fiber internet, washer/dryer, and drying cabinet. There is one full bathroom and an additional WC. For remote work, a dedicated workspace is available with a desk, ergonomic chair, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and all necessary cables – just plug in your laptop and get started. The ski lift is just 200 meters away, and the cross-country trail “Himmelfjäll runt” starts right below the cabin. Within walking distance, you’ll also find ski rental services and the local restaurant Renen och Älgen. Idre is home to three ski resorts: Idre Fjäll, Idre Himmelfjäll, and Fjätervålen. Idre Fjäll is just a few minutes by car, and Fjätervålen is about a 20-minute drive. Don’t feel like driving? A free ski bus runs between all three resorts throughout the day during the winter season. Idre offers plenty of activities all year round – not just in winter. Idre Fjäll is just minutes away and features downhill biking, a high ropes course, mountain horseback riding, an activity center with indoor/outdoor pools, padel, bowling, whitewater rafting, and more. The Städjan/Nipfjället Nature Reserve is also just minutes away, offering hiking trails for all levels. Grövelsjöfjällen is about a 30-minute drive and boasts spectacular trails through genuine mountain terrain. For a full-day excursion, we highly recommend a visit to Fulufjället National Park, home to Sweden’s highest waterfall, Njupeskär. This object has these conveniences:
