Welcome to our genuine and charming cottage in southwestern Småland – rented every summer since 1997. Generations of guests have enjoyed the peace, nature, and the authentic Småland countryside life here.
The cottage is secluded on our farm, at the very end of the property with no passing traffic – just grazing pastures, forests, babbling brooks, and our farm as your closest neighbor.
The cottage retains its old charm and cozy atmosphere, which many guests have appreciated over the years.
There is no Wi-Fi here – instead, you’ll have time to relax, have conversations, read, and enjoy nature.
Around the house, pastures and forests stretch out. If you’re lucky, you might meet our cows grazing and cats playing on the farm.
There are plenty of walking trails in the forest and idyllic gravel roads perfect for cycling. You also have a good chance of spotting wildlife.
The pasture next to the house is a favorite with children – they can run and play for hours while adults relax in the garden.
Within cycling distance lies Lake Exen, where you can swim, fish, or take a rowboat ride included in the rental. There is plenty of parking right next to the house, and in the evenings, the sun sets over the terrace and barbecue area.
