"Un rubino tra i Sassi" is located strategically in the center of Matera, on the doorstep to Sassi and a few meters from the main square.
Sassi (Unesco World Heritage) in Matera is an amazing, magical town which is unique in the whole world. Matera is the 2019 European Capital Of Culture! It has been in many movies such as Ben-Hur, Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, and during 2019 the latest 007 James Bond-movie "No Time To Die" is filmed here.
The accommodation is located on the ground floor which is accessed by a security door with code. On the ground floor there is: entrance hall with kitchenette (induction hob, kitchen utensils, mini-fridge, capsule coffee machine, microwave oven), double sofa bed, a bathroom with shower and bidet.
A wooden staircase leads to the first mezzanine floor, where there is a doublebed and a second full bathroom. The barrel vault is typical of the "lamioni" of Sassi, characteristic dwellings consisting of a single room, now restored and divided into several rooms.
The holiday apartment has bed linen, towels, and bath soap.
TV and WiFi is available.
Availability is for up to 4 guests.
Both the double bed and the sofabed are connected in the same room and not divided into separate bedrooms.
Upon checkin, the city tax will be charged at the rate of 2€/person for the first 3 nights.
