Wonderful cottage in the woods

High season: 5900 SEK/week

A lovely place for relaxing, playing with the children, forest walks and either cross-country skiing in the winter or swimming in the many lakes that range from 3 km to 10 km in the summer. The forest is just outside the large house in Hallaboda, 6 km from Häradsbäck and 25 km from Älmhult in Småland.

A large cabin of 72 sqm with fireplace, sofa + armchairs, large dining table and kitchen where you make your own food. One toilet with shower and two bedrooms with beds for 4 persons.
A guesthouse of 15 sqm for 2-5 people, and a solid double bunk beds and an armchair and wardrobe. Here you can also find outdoor places just outside on the beautiful veranda.

There are 4 bikes you can use as well as sledges for the winter. A nice sauna with room for 6-7 people who have a window to the forest. There is a shower and a small veranda outside to enjoy the evening sun.

Either you can go straight out into the woods and pick mushrooms or blueberries at season. Or you can walk or take the bike down to the lake and swim. About 4 km from the cottage there is a stonepit where you can swim and jump in the summer (the bigger kids and adults usually like this!). If you want to visit the IKEA museum, it takes approx. 25 min by car and there is also Ica Maxi as well as shopping opportunities. Otherwise it is Lönsboda (18 min by car) you can shop in Coop or Ica as well as a Närlivs in Häradsbäck (6 km).

In the evening you enjoy the tranquility and darkness where you can clearly see the stars in a completely different way than in the city. There is plenty of room for sunbathing, playing, swinging on our swing stand as well as playing football on the home-built pitch. There is plenty of outdoor furniture so you can follow the sun or shade - depending on how hot / cold it is! Club games, boccia and croquet are available to borrow as well as various board games indoors.
