Charming 1850s farm for rent in Lennartsfors.

For those of you who want a quiet, rural and close-to-nature holiday in a Värmland "Lönnebergaidyll" with a view over a pond.
Here you can really feel the stillness and hear the silence.
A short walk to the wonderful shallow swimming beach in lake Lelång, which is part of Dalsland's canal.

The two-story farmhouse has much of the original construction left, but has been carefully renovated.

The lower floor consists of a self-catering kitchen with crockery and utensils.
Large, lovely wood stove that both heats and is excellent for cooking
Fridge with freezer compartment, electric stove, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, toaster, electric beater, etc.,
Inside the kitchen is the old "Pigkammaren" which has a bunk bed.
Large cabin with fireplace, sofa group and dining table.
A small glass veranda with original doors and windows.
Spacious hall with double wardrobe and "cleaning scrubber under the stairs".
Toilet with shower, wash basin and separate leisure toilet installed in 2022.
Wood for both the kitchen stove and fireplace is available free of charge in the wood shed,
Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a double bed with space for e.g. cot/child's bed.

The farm is secluded and the yard invites both to activities such as ball games and freesbee, or quiet relaxation with birds chirping and undisturbed sunbathing. The fields around the farm are cut down. Plenty of space for cars.

Outdoor furniture, Weber charcoal grill, deck chairs, women's + men's bicycle, berry picker, mushroom basket, etc. is available.
Rhubarb, currants, gooseberries, chives, lettuce, etc. grows on the farm and may be picked "as long as stocks last".

Wooden deck with pavilion and lounge group in a wonderful western location.
Sandbox, swing and trampoline for the younger guests.

To guarantee a comfortable bathing temperature, a wood-fired hot tub is available for rent. Firewood included.
Older rowing boat with oars can be borrowed in lake Lelång.

In the immediate vicinity there are lands abundant with berries and mushrooms in season.
There is a rich wildlife here with deer, elk, fox etc. which can roam around the cabin.
Both beavers and swans coexist in the water.

Booking fee, as well as a deposit of SEK 1,000 is paid when booking and refunded when the cabin is left in an undamaged and cleaned condition. Non-refundable in case of cancellation.

Cleaning is done by the tenant according to the cleaning schedule available in the cabin or booked for an additional price.
Bed linen and bath towels are brought by the tenant or can be rented.
No smoking indoors. No pets.

The village of Lennartsfors is a former mill town that comes alive many times in the summer. The town is located by the lakes Stora Le/Foxen and Lelång, with a beautiful lock (built in 1865) which is the most impressive in Dalsland's canal after the aqueduct in Håverud and makes boating and tourism flourish in summer.
A lock café, restaurant Strömsborg and unique small garden cafés with home-baked coffee are opened here.
At Bergstugan there is a small grocery store with a café/restaurant and Pub. Rail cruises can be taken with M/S Nils Eriksson at Lelång.
There are craftsmen of various kinds. various items of both old and new that are open in the summer.
Big midsummer celebration at the homestead. Dance floor with summer events. Tennis court and soccer field managed by Lennartsfors IF where guests can use.
