Welcome to rent our cabin in Sundborn, 5 km from the Carl Larsson-garden. We are two sisters whose place on earth was built by our parents in the '70s and which we expanded 4 years ago. The cabin is well-equipped with plenty of space to settle down both indoors and outdoors. On the south-facing deck, there are sun loungers and a grill. The cabin is the last house on the small forest road. The location offers privacy with the forest on one side and a field on the other. It’s 100 meters down to the lake and our own swimming area. Here you’ll also find our rowboat, which you can use for a fishing trip or to reach the public swimming beach on the other side of the lake (about 600 m). In addition to visiting the Carl Larsson-garden, a trip to Falun (20 km) is highly recommended for shopping and many attractions such as the World Heritage site, Falu Copper Mine.

Vi var fyra personer som bodde här en vecka i juli 2026, tillsammans med vår katt. Av alla sommarstugor vi har hyrt under de senaste åren är detta nog den allra bästa. Huset var mycket rent, välskött och verkligen fullt utrustat med allt vi behövde under veckan. Badrummet har golvvärme och tvättmaskin, det finns element i sovrummen om vädret skulle bli kyligt och en öppen spis i vardagsrummet. Sängen i det stora sovrummet var väldigt bekväm, och vi uppskattade också alla mysiga soffor och fåtöljer på olika ställen i huset – det finns gott om plats både för att umgås och för att dra sig undan med en bok. Läget är fantastiskt: vacker skog runt omkring, sjön precis intill och egen brygga med båt. Vi fiskade mycket och hade det verkligen härligt. Samtidigt är det praktiskt – det finns en mataffär bara några minuters bilresa bort och det är inte långt till Falun och alla sevärdheter där. Värdarna var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma, lätta att få kontakt med och tog emot oss på bästa sätt. Vi kände oss verkligen välkomna och hade en fantastisk vecka här. Vi kommer väldigt gärna tillbaka!
