**Welcome to our cabins in the north of Bohuslän**
The house has soul and character and we love it! It has been a real pleasure to renovate this house and make it beautiful again. We have been renovating this house for three months, and it has been hard work and a true pleasure from start to finish! We have renovated everything indoors and are so happy with the result.
SWIMMING IN THE SEA AND LAKE
The lake is about 75 meters from the house and you can see it between the pine trees on the plot. There is a small shallow sandy beach with a floating jetty and coffee table. There is no crowding here at all, just calm and still.
To salt baths at Krokstrand it takes just over five minutes by car. The bathing area is child-friendly with a small sandy beach and jetty. Within walking distance there is a simpler restaurant with outdoor seating. Idefjorden is the national border with Norway so it is Norway you see on the other side.
At a 20-minute drive, there are many bathing places to choose from along the coast. We have written together some information about our personal favorite restaurants, beaches and suggestions for excursions that will be in the house when you arrive.
LIVING ROOM
The living room is personally decorated with two sofa groups and our beloved crystal chandelier. The red sofa bed will be 140 cm. The living room has a door so you can close if you are going to sleep here. There's a 50-inch smart TV, Chromecast and wi-fi.
The bathroom is small, but contains the most essential parts. We have updated with new décor, paint and wallpaper. The shower stall is also new. We love the now three-color old door!
KITCHEN
The kitchen from the 50s has been allowed to remain even though it is not quite in height for today's tall people or has self-closing drawers. We don't regret it for a second. Instead, we inserted an induction hob and convection oven on the left and there was a new fridge with a freezer at the far end of the kitchen. There is also a new coffee maker, kettle, microwave and toaster. Porcelain and glass, on the other hand, are beloved flea market finds.
