Stugan ligger intill bokskogen med hästhagen utan för dörren milsvida skogsvägar utan biltrafik.
Stor damm 200 meter från stugan med Finsk vedeldad bastu går även att bada i dammen vatten kvalite källvatten går att dricka om man kokar det.
Går även att hyra guidad hästridning Max en person i taget 1- 3 timmars tur 600-1200 kr
