Edsåsdalen is a small mountain village not far from Åre.
There are ski slopes, cross-country tracks, hiking trails and fishing.
It is a genuine and charming mountain village with a lively cultural landscape and several low mountains in a horseshoe shape around the village. At the end of the road in the valley, a large wilderness area stretches out and here are several cabins gathered on the southern slope of Renfjället.
This cabin is located next to Hedungsbacken in a hill system with several lifts and by the cabin cross-country tracks go up towards Renfjället. Ski school and sports shop are in the village.
During the summer, one of the hiking trails goes up towards Renfjället very close to the cabin and it is not far to a mountain lake where you can swim, fish and rent a boat.
